Yes, that's right, depositing funds that are considered to be large amounts should be made at a broker whose regulations are clear, some sort of regulation from the US, UK, Australia, etc. Not an offshore country.

From the Jefta case, it looks like the problem is in registration. Maybe when I registered, I didn't go directly to the broker but through an IB or White Label who didn't work with AvaTrade anymore. Indeed, instead of having problems lately, it's better to register for an account directly with the official broker. Also, if you deposit, use the method that has been listed & allowed by the broker.
